Many man-made fruit juices lack the necessary vitamins and minerals because of the processing of manufacturing these drinks. Pasteurization is a process in which the fruits are subjected to high heat to kill bacteria. This high heat burns up most of the vitamins, enzymes, and minerals. Then they add artificial flavors and preservatives.

If at all possible, getting organically grown fruits are the best choice. Since you want to detoxify your body of toxins, organic grown fruits are free from any pesticides. This will aid you in detoxifying your body quicker. However, due to organic fruit isn’t always available or affordable; it’s helpful to know which conventional fruits are relatively safer. The list below have the lowest amount of detectible pesticide content:

  • Pineapple
  •  mango

The Right Balance of Fruit Sugar

Fruits contain natural sugar (fructose) that can affect your blood sugar, acidity and yeast growth. This simple sugar is ideal in providing a source of energy for your body’s cells. However, even though these sugars are very mild compared to refined sugar, they may still aggravate issues in some people.

Some people have experienced an aggravation of a yeast overgrowth called Candidiasis, from eating too much sugar. We all know that processed sugar is not natural. It is man-made. Natural sugar is always the best for your body. Yeast thrives on any form of sugar. It will multiply rapidly when well supplied. This will cause sugar cravings that will be hard to ignore.

We all need sugar for quick energy for our bodies to use efficiently. Combine high sugar fruits with low and moderate sugar fruits when making your fruit salads for breakfast.
